J2808 – Our client is seeking a Business Analyst responsible for understanding and mapping out future process or system requirements and working within the Business Change team on project delivery for system changes and implementations. This is a key role in the project life-cycle as it is necessary to ensure requirements for any changes are clearly defined and documented prior to moving to estimation stage .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with business departments to regularly review business processes and suggest potential improvements that will not always necessarily require system changes.
Understand the use of the various applications within the business to be able to support new projects.
Work on the business systems transformation in line with IT Strategy, ensuring that any new systems being proposed meet with the requirements of the business and take into consideration the needs of the customer.
Explore and translate the needs of business teams to ensure that related system projects achieve their planned outcomes.
Provide support to the business in respect of mapping out as is and to be processes.
Run workshops with the various business teams when required in order to gather system change requirements and complete documentation for review.
Collaborate with business subject matter experts, product owners and developers to determine and create backlog content including features, epics and user stories where required.
Play an active role in the Business Change team in respect of project delivery, being flexible and ready to support team members
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Good working knowledge of the Asset Finance Industry and products offered.
Experience in business analysis.
Strong knowledge of requirements gathering.
Good knowledge of Agile methodology and Storyboard process.
A willingness to see a task through to full completion and appropriate handover.
Logical troubleshooting capability.
Quality and objective analysis of data and process.
We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
